about me
I am Partner at the Near Future Laboratory, a research agency co-founded with Nicolas Nova and Julian Bleecker. In my work, I apply a mix of scientific and engineering methods to understand and create the technological and social evolutions of contemporary cities.
This blog reports on my readings, thoughts and milestones as part of my research, particularly in the domains of mobility, urban environments, and infrastructure-human interaction.

it has to be added, that ETHGame was an interdisciplinary design studio at the faculty of Architecture at ETH Zurich in 2004/05. The protoypical setup included the WLAN network of the university (150 AP, http://www.ethz.ch), location engines, game engine and database for questionaires. The game aims for location based knowledge communication.
Among the results were sucessful prototypes of: location tracker (placelab add on), online questionaire, gameplay, documentation. See http://www.building-ip.ethz.ch/education/ETHGame for details. And: it’s not really ‘bullshit’, it’s more real than the modified title suggests
