just click accept changes The scariest thing I heard in a vibe coding webinar was this:
“Just click ‘accept changes’.”
Why?
Because the implication — and what participants were being told — was to not think about the changes being made to the code. Just accept them. Don’t question them. Don’t think about them. Just click “accept changes” and move on.
It’s a sign of a culture of giving oneself over to the machine. To accepting the changes without understanding the changes themselves.
I’m not saying everyone needs to understand all the nuances of oftentimes arcane code.
What I am saying is that enforcing a lack of curiosity is a problem.
Vibe coding feels a bit like playing with one of those fancy keyboards can make you sound like a professional musician.
Only you aren’t. You’re just playing at being one. |
