Interconnected Entangled Conversatron
An LLM in an ATM machine with a display of an 8-bit McLuhan pacing about and answering questions. But maybe it is not McLuhan, need not be. Could be an integrated ATM-like device that one finds in bodegas and the like. Normalized in some fashion. What it does specifically may be to extract value from ones accounts. Or something that has become sort of a ritualized node for some new social ritual/habit/need to talk to something. Perhaps it is a kind of betting parlor, like OTB but on the street and you are betting on simulated sport? Maybe it all started with an ATM that was actually a gag/art-tech intervention that had contained within it a freeze-dried instance of Marshall McLuhan but then it became just 'a thing' and the ATM moniker stuck, even though it is no longer McLuhan, but all these forks of the original idea and it was a fork of a repo to begin with but then the idiom 'fork' just became part of the argot of the times. As did, perhaps, 'freeze dried' and 'rehydrated' to represent, maybe in a pejorative way, these kinds of intelligences of past figures or people of note. There are people who use them regularly, that leads to some people not using them and thus you have both the usual dynamics of 'haves' and have-nots', and those who are 'analog' (do not use MMs — machine models — or PCs — playing characters) and those who are 'digital' (use them routinely, or as a matter of course, or perhaps never-ending/always for every decision and action, guided by an ML).
