Could we make a device that reads through a transcript / captions of a film and just shows you the highlights? Generative content in the mode of generative film / Eno but automated and somewhat ridiculous. As a contrivance, you'd put the film in on a cartridge, perhaps something like a floppy disk and it would have a display that would then unfurl the highlights of the film rather than the whole thing.
