Given up on the Singularity there's a KW index that indicates how much available machine intelligence is currently available, somewhat like a bandwidth or available electricity index which people pay attention to during peak usage times such that somedays there's not alot of AI availability which impacts business, home use, consumer use, etc. and so — today might be a good day to read a book!
