So — there are two things here.

1. Jon Black’s fantastic podcast that is in Spanish, which makes it hard for me to understand.

2. But wait! I can shove it through a robot and get a translation! Now I can read it, which is amazing.

3. Oh, wow! I can shove it through another robot and translate audio to audio! Cool!

4. Oh, my.. Wow. This audio translation is a signal of some new kind of audio experience. Miraculous, but I’m not sure who is talking when, and I think my voice started talking to itself.

5. And then the robot is trying to translate me speaking in English into English again. Holy cow this is..something from some adjacent quantum semantic entanglement.

6. You owe yourself to have a listen, if only for these peculiar semantic artifacts — a machine glitch that is speaking to me about itself as it glitches.

Juana Isabel Mesa emphasizes integrating ancestral technologies for future design, particularly in the food sector. The script also addresses the personal transformation of a designer who channels anxiety into creative action, balancing organic and technological creativity. Additionally, it discusses potential shifts in digital content monetization with Apple TV Plus’s performance-based payout model, impacts of streaming service taxes in Canada for independent productions, and Pizza Hut’s innovative buffet model in airports.
The podcast that talks about creativity, art, digital culture, music, new media, technology, business, but above all about the future. Creative Talks because we believe that creativity is the most important skill. Why do I blog this?
I wanted to capture this podcast from a conversation I had with Jon Black while at Innovation ANDI in Medellin.
