The On Injury Predictive Forecast Implantable is a speculative design fiction artifact that imagines a future where athletic performance and injury prevention are enhanced through implantable inference engine that evaluates, processes, and assesses using predictive intelligence models, derived from the principles of LLMs. This speculative fictional product is designed to provide real-time insights into joint injury risks, using data from personal health and fitness tracking devices, as well as analytics from other users engaged in similar physical activities. "Got dropped off by the janky time machine in a near future wherein athletic performance has tripped over itself and landed in a world of implantable large language models.
Consider this: intelligences of some description are now in prognosticating contrivances — a new category of consumer electronics. These are things that we (or some of us) can implant into our bodies. We have no idea how they work any more than we know how LLMs work. But we know they work.
