Sarah DaVanzo sent me this fun newspaper (as well as some other things) from a possible future with some curious and compelling artifacts in it, like the IoT Shed, the Lunchabios Synthetic Biology Lunch Combination and some evocative articles helping to imply the various characteristics of this world. And of course the inclusion of the IKEA Catalog as a lovely newspaper-style ‘supplement’ advertisement.
I remember multi-page ads like that in things like the New York Times back in the day: it was always J&R that would have a big page or spread of an advertisement featuring tons of electronics stuff, cameras, computers, music equipment and all kinds of stuff. I remember seeing that spread when the Palm VII came out? The one that had an antenna and the OS had a TCP/IP stack? I went straight down to J&R and bought one. Anyway.
