This came up while listening to the podcast interview with Gary Hustwit where he had to cover rights for the music as if the music will always be in the film even though the film is generative and scenes with the music may not show up — a disjuncture between now and what could be. So what would this be? Insurance to protect against possible outcomes — but isn't this what insurance is anyway?
